2008年5月，经教育部中国教育国际交流协会，四川省教育厅、四川省教育国际交流协会的组织和安排，我校共有9名同学通过选拔，赴泰国担任为期半年的汉语语言助教教师，通过4个月的助教学习，同学们最新发回自己的真实感受，他们不但在英语语言上有了很大的提高，而且在教学实践中培养了自己的“学以致用”的能力，还积极学习了泰语，了解泰国文化，扩大了自己的国际视野，以下是部分在泰国的同学发回的信息：

    迟到的中秋祝福,不过我这里第七时区还是中秋夜。因为刚刚跟随接待家庭从东北部旅游回来，所以才能上到网。乐山师院这两年确实在国际处的努力下似乎越发国际化了，我们也是受益者，有这么好的机会来泰国半年实习，现在就已经烈意识到得这半年的体验会终身受益了。——文新学院2007级王陵君

    

    Just as what you know , everything for me goes well here and I have good relationships with both of  my host family and school .It's the first year for my school to open Chinese class ,so it's a challenge for me to be the first  Chinese teacher assistant .However ,I'm so welcomed by the students (and the exchange students from other countries in my school ) and even the teachers that my school added me two classes for teachers .They let me see that Chinese is a real charming language .I feel so happy that I can come here to be the help ,which makes my life more significant .
     In my opinion , the real Thailand is better far away than that it was described in the books .In fact, it was even still better than in my best dreams .Immediately as I entered Thailand ,I love the always smiling people and the beautiful countryside and the culture .It is wonderful and the emotion is bigger than I can describe with words .
     As a foreign teacher here ,I was invited to take part in many language camps and activities .In order to let more students in our school know this program ,I will show you some pictures in the details .

一晃我都没想到4个月就过去了,无形和有形中收获了很多,不光是见识到很多不同的东西,引起自身的很多反思,还完善了个人的性格.也许这样说有点"概念",但却折射出120多个日日夜夜和万千事件的感受汇总,确实很多东西不是只言片语可以概括的.说大点,就是了解到更大的世界对咱中国的较为真实的看法………...  从小的点说的话,现在我晓得改变了一些从个人习惯到性格.. 现在很多朋友,和他们一起时很快乐,加上经历的一些,觉得这一趟特别值得,至少有一点我是很肯定的,那就是乐观和坚韧.这恐怕会影响以后的一生,所以以后我会争取更多的机会多出来看看                                                                             ——————外国语学院2007级李莉
